Questions about payment at EV chargers
Which chargers and back-end systems does Logos work with?
Logos All-in-One integrates directly via OCPP or LEVP, or in the cloud via OCPI (e.g. ChargePanel) and proprietary CPO protocols (e.g. Monta and Virta).
Do my chargers need to be replaced?
Not necessarily. The UX700 can be built into the charger, and a stand-alone PayPoint OPT can control up to 8 DC chargers from one terminal.
What does AFIR require of payment at chargers?
Among other things, AFIR requires new publicly accessible chargers of 50 kW or more to offer ad hoc payment by payment card. Logos All-in-One makes it easy to meet the requirement.
Which payment methods are supported?
Visa, Mastercard, Dankort, BankAxept, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MobilePay and Swish, as well as fleet cards and local cards.
Can I choose my own acquirer?
Yes. Logos All-in-One supports several acquirers, so you can keep your current acquiring agreement or choose a new one.
Who uses Logos for EV charging?
Molslinjen offers payment directly at the charger with Logos All-in-One, in partnership with Verifone, Monta and i-Charging.
Can the terminal stay outdoors all year round?
Yes. The PayPoint OPT is built in 1.5 mm stainless steel (316), is rated IP65 and works from −30 to +70 °C.
