German Language Support for UX700

The UX700 payment terminal (MDB) now supports German as an available language option.

Supported languages can enable or disable directly in PayManager under the Language section.

Maintenance & Improvements

Enhanced Technical Logging

Improved technical logging and monitoring capabilities through Logos system, enabling more effective diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Reliability Tracker Enhancements

The UX700 now reports its restart status to PayManager, providing improved visibility and system reliability tracking.

Optimized File Downloads

The UX700 now downloads only changed files following a terminal restart or PCI reboot. This reduces unnecessary data transfers and improves update efficiency.

Stability Improvements

Various stability and performance improvements have been implemented to enhance the overall reliability of the platform.

Version: MDB 1.6.3
Release Type: Maintenance & Feature Update

Logos Connect Public API has now been released and is available on our Logos Connect Multitenant platform. The API allows external and internal systems to integrate directly with our wash and fuel sites, as well as related site and transaction data — marking an important step in opening up our platform for integrations.

DocumentationThe full API documentation is available here: Public API DocumentationThe documentation includes both a “Getting Started” guide and a complete API reference covering all endpoints.

Key functional areasThe API is organized around the following functional areas:

  • Site – Retrieve information about a site, including available fuel and wash points.
  • FuelingPoint – Authorize fueling transactions at fuel points.
  • WashPoint – Authorize washing transactions at wash points.
  • WashCode – Verify wash codes.
  • Price – Handling of prices for a given location.
  • Transaction – Retrieve transaction information.
  • CreditNotes – Create credit notes in connection with cash payments in-store.

There is also a guide on Events, describing event-based communication within the platform.

StatusPlease note that the API definition remains a work in progress and may change on an ongoing basis as part of continued development or customer projects. We therefore recommend keeping an eye on the documentation site for updates.

The standard Logos eReceipt is now available on any Fuel or Car Wash transaction. After paying, the customer can pick up the receipt either by scanning an on-screen QR code with their phone or by entering a phone number (with country code) to receive the link by SMS.

Logos All-in-One now supports EV charging through two more backends: EVesto and Gito. Both join Monta, Virta and ChargePanel (OCPI) as ready-made integrations on the UX700, so operators running on either platform can take card payments at the charger without a custom project.

Version 1.1.0

Logos fixed timer

Logos fixed timer controls fixed-time products on the UX700 terminal, such as showers, vacuum cleaners and mat cleaners. One terminal can run several units of the same product, such as two vacuum cleaners, or a mix of different products. Because one terminal can serve several products, fewer terminals are needed on site.

Visual countdown

Once a product has started, Logos fixed timer shows a countdown on the screen, so the end customer can see how much time is left before the product finishes. End customers can make the most of their session and aren’t caught off guard when it stops. This makes for a better experience and fewer complaints that the product “stopped too early”.

Multiple languages

End customers can choose the language on the terminal themselves. This makes it easy for tourists and international guests to use the products, so the site doesn’t lose sales because a customer can’t understand the screen.

Protection against failed payments

Logos fixed timer makes sure the end customer only pays for what they actually get. If there is no connection to the relay, for example because a wire has come loose, the end customer can’t start a payment at all. If a fault prevents the product from starting after payment, the payment is cancelled automatically. Either way, end customers don’t pay for something they don’t receive, and operators don’t have to deal with complaints and manual refunds.

Out of order

A single product or the whole terminal can be set to “Out of order”, for example during maintenance or when there’s a fault. End customers can’t pay for a product that isn’t working, and the other products on the terminal can still be sold.

Free session

Staff can give an end customer a free session through the support menu. This is a quick and easy way to make things right with an unhappy customer on the spot, without cash or refunds.

Remembers its state

If the terminal should restart unexpectedly, Logos fixed timer remembers which products were running and carries on from there. End customers keep the time they paid for, and if it ever happens, operators are protected against complaints and lost revenue.

A new access mode for EV sites: the charger and terminal stay locked until the customer presents the correct QR code, which then unlocks both. Useful where charging should be restricted to known users, fleets or members while still running on the standard All-in-One EV flow.

All-in-One now covers the classic forecourt services for cleaning and maintaining the car — vacuum, liquids and self-wash bays. Customers can pay per use or pay in advance, on the same UX700 terminal that runs the rest of the site.

Car wash payments by license plate number or voucher can now require a PIN. This adds security and flexibility alongside ANPR — for instance when a plate isn’t recognised — or simply when a customer enters a voucher number at the terminal.

The full Logos Wash suite now runs on the compact PayPoint housing with the UX700, with Verifone acquiring for all EMV bank cards. The complete user dialogue runs on the UX700’s high-resolution screen, including up-selling of wash features.

Integrated with almost every car wash manufacturer (Istobal, Kärcher, WashTec, Ryko, Tammer and others), and all Logos Connect car wash features — Wash Club, Wash’r, wash codes — can be enabled.

All-in-One Refuelling can now be integrated with the standard Doms PSS 5000 forecourt controller. The UX700 runs the complete user dialogue — either built into the dispenser or on a pedestal from which several dispensers can be selected — while the PSS 5000 controls the forecourt.

Transaction reconciliation is handled through the PSS 5000 and the connected POS system; monitoring, control and configuration of the terminal are exposed via Logos Connect.

Logos Connect is the centralised back-office for Fuel and Car Wash operations. It covers terminals, transactions, subscriptions, customers and more from one place, giving operators efficient, secure administrative control across their entire system.

The complete Logos re-fuelling feature set on the UX700, with Verifone acquiring for all EMV bank cards. The full user dialogue runs on the terminal’s high-resolution screen.

Integrates with almost any dispenser on the market (IFSF, Gilbarco, Wayne Dart, Tatsuno and others) — either through Logos’ own forecourt-controller capabilities or via a third-party controller such as the Doms PSS 5000 or Logos FuelNet Manager. Hydrogen, LNG, CNG and other alternative fuels are supported, as are price signs and tank gauges for controlling the complete site. Monitoring, control and configuration are exposed via Logos Connect.

Fast, hands-free car wash access with Logos Automatic Number Plate Recognition, integrated with cameras from Tattile and Dahua. Combined with Logos Wash Club it lets subscription customers drive straight in, and gives operators another lever for maximising car wash revenue.

Customers can now enter a wash code directly on the All-in-One device, powered by the Logos Wash Code Engine. Designed for subscription-based and pre-sold washes; codes are managed in Logos Connect.

Three additions to the Logos Connect Public API.

  • Location returns fuelling points (sites, dispensers, products) and wash points (sites, car washes, products) — ready for a station map or product overview in your own app.
  • Transaction retrieves the completed transaction after a fuelling so you can show the customer what they bought.
  • Wash code lets you get and delete wash codes; a valid code is returned together with its product restrictions.

A simple All-in-One mode for vacuum cleaners: the customer selects one of the pre-set timers on the UX700 and pays. Easy to use for any customer and a natural supplement to the car wash.

The Logos Connect Public API opens up Logos Connect so partners can build apps that control fuelling and wash points.

  • Fuel — authorise fuelling, terminate fuelling, and events during fuelling (started, in progress, done).
  • Wash — authorise wash, terminate wash, and events during the wash (started, in progress, done).

PayManager is the back-office for managing and monitoring All-in-One terminals in EV charging, vending and I/O-controlled applications such as access control, vacuum cleaners and DIY car wash bays. It provides configuration and real-time status for every terminal, plus reporting and transaction overviews across the whole network.

The UX700 user interface can now be aligned with your own brand: top logo, background colour, primary and secondary colours, text colour (black or white) and item logos are all configurable. Language options can be added and managed as well — Logos offers a range of languages, and new ones can be added on request through Logos Support.

Logos Vision is the monitoring suite in Logos Connect. It collects alarms from every terminal on every site, shows terminals on a graphical map overview and presents alarms to monitoring staff so they can act on them. Available in English; additional languages on request.
