Fixed timer
Version 1.1.0
Logos fixed timer
Logos fixed timer controls fixed-time products on the UX700 terminal, such as showers, vacuum cleaners and mat cleaners. One terminal can run several units of the same product, such as two vacuum cleaners, or a mix of different products. Because one terminal can serve several products, fewer terminals are needed on site.
Visual countdown
Once a product has started, Logos fixed timer shows a countdown on the screen, so the end customer can see how much time is left before the product finishes. End customers can make the most of their session and aren’t caught off guard when it stops. This makes for a better experience and fewer complaints that the product “stopped too early”.
Multiple languages
End customers can choose the language on the terminal themselves. This makes it easy for tourists and international guests to use the products, so the site doesn’t lose sales because a customer can’t understand the screen.
Protection against failed payments
Logos fixed timer makes sure the end customer only pays for what they actually get. If there is no connection to the relay, for example because a wire has come loose, the end customer can’t start a payment at all. If a fault prevents the product from starting after payment, the payment is cancelled automatically. Either way, end customers don’t pay for something they don’t receive, and operators don’t have to deal with complaints and manual refunds.
Out of order
A single product or the whole terminal can be set to “Out of order”, for example during maintenance or when there’s a fault. End customers can’t pay for a product that isn’t working, and the other products on the terminal can still be sold.
Free session
Staff can give an end customer a free session through the support menu. This is a quick and easy way to make things right with an unhappy customer on the spot, without cash or refunds.
Remembers its state
If the terminal should restart unexpectedly, Logos fixed timer remembers which products were running and carries on from there. End customers keep the time they paid for, and if it ever happens, operators are protected against complaints and lost revenue.
